What do you do if you can't afford the price of a dental crown after root canal in the US?
I've established from research here that the price of a dental crown after root canal is on average $800-$1000 in the USA. What do people do without insurance and who can't afford that do in the US? Surely not just pull the tooth...?

- You could try to have a large filling placed as more of a temporary solution until you can afford the more permanent crown. Good luck.
- I had root canals 4 years ago, I have tried saving money to pay for crowns, but I have not been sucessful, so thursday, I am getting all my top teeth pulled and getting a denture.
- most dental offices have some kind of payment option such as care-credit or financing through banks such as citi bank. if your credit is good enough you can even qualify for a no interest loan. if that is not a choice, most dental offices offer in-house payment plans such as automatic where you leave a copy of your credit card and authorize the office to charge certain amount per month until your balance is paid in full, however this option most of the time includes interests. call your dental office and ask what kind of payment plan options they can offer.
